CBM Training
Cat. 2 Basic Machinery Vibration
A unique 5-day weekday course (October 7,8,9,10,11) on BMV that prepares attendees to perform basic vibration analysis on industrial machinery using single-channel measurements, with or without trigger signals, according to established and recognized procedures. It covers the basics of sensors, database and data collector setup, data collection, signal processing, fault analysis, and basics of single plane balancing. It is partial preparation for the Vibration Analyst Category II Certification Exam. The workshops and demonstrations scheduled throughout the training course are used to illustrate theory and applications.
Cat. 3 Machinery Vibration Analysis
This course provides more in-depth discussions of time wave forms, FFT’s and phase analysis techniques for the evaluation of industrial machinery. It includes waveform and spectral analysis, acceptance testing, machinery severity assessment, single plane balancing and much more. This course provides 38 hours of training and partial preparation for the ISO 18436-2:2014 Vibration Analyst Category III Certification Exam.
