Category I: Introduction to Machinery Vibration

This course helps prepare attendees to perform a range of simple, single channel machinery vibration condition monitoring and diagnostic activities. This course meets the 30-hour training requirement for preparation for the Category I vibration analyst certification exam per ISO 18436-2:2014.

Machinery Alignment and Balancing

This course is an intensive mix of hands-on practice and in-depth instruction of precision shaft alignment and balancing of rotating machinery. It provides a very good understanding of the theory and practical knowledge in conventional and laser alignment techniques as well as both field balancing and shop (balancing machine) balancing.

Risk and Asset Management Review: Understanding ISO 31000 and ISO 55000 Standards

This three-day training program offers a thorough overview of the ISO55000 Asset Management and ISO 31000 Risk Management Standards.  The long-term success of an organization relies on many things, from continually assessing and updating their strategies to optimizing their processes and equipment. As if this were not enough of a challenge, they also need to account for the unexpected in managing risk.

Category II: Basic Machinery Vibrations

There is a workshop supporting each chapter. The student will test their knowledge and understanding of the material presented for that chapter by completing the workshops during the time allowed in class. The instructor will then review the workshop with the class. The student’s time and understanding of the workshop materials will aid them in their preparation for the certification exam.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Excellence

Maintenance planning and scheduling should dramatically improve the productivity of maintenance. For example, a group of 30 maintenance technicians should be performing the work of 47 persons when aided by a single planner. Yet most maintenance organizations do not have a planning function and most that do are frustrated.

MRO Storeroom Control and Optimization

Maintenance, repair, and operations, or MRO, has a major impact on the company’s performance. It primarily includes all the processes and activities performed by the facility to ensure that all equipment within the facility remains in good condition. Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) is an entire field of study. Nothing else a business does matters if it fails to execute on MRO. You can’t deliver value amid downtime, stockouts, or safety incidents.
