This course is designed to familiarise participants with what constitutes an ISO 55001 compliant asset managed environment and to provide them with the knowledge and comprehension to undertake the WPiAM CAMA exam
It is recognized by the WPiAM: ‘The World Partners in Asset Management recognizes “Assess Others in an Asset Managed Environment” owned by the Institute of Quality Asset Management Pty Ltd as providing course content that addresses the competencies specified in ISBN978 0 9871799 5 1 GFMAM ISO55001 Auditor Assessor specification’ It explores asset management practice within the context of an ISO55001 Asset Management System and how together, these drive and support an organisation’s ability to meet its objectives and deliver value to customers.
Course Content
- Provide participants with the skills and knowledge to understand:
- Principles/fundamentals of sound Asset Management and the ISO 55000 Standards.
- Contextualisation of Asset Management for generation of value.
- The development and application of asset management decision making frameworks and criteria.
- Organisational issues, governance and assurance, roles, responsibilities and accountability.
- Leadership, culture and capability for efficient and effective delivery against asset management objectives.
- Fundamentals of managing assets through their life stages from lust to dust.
- Asset Management planning.
- The application of asset management activities within the context of business objectives, ISO 55001
compliance, levels of service, cost optimisation and organisational risk. - Operating in an asset managed environment by resourcing to meet asset management objectives, specifying
and meeting levels of service requirements, development and maintenance of awareness and competency,
and implementation of a continuous improvement culture. - Configuration management, information and knowledge management for reliable decision making and
performance management. - Change management
- Assessment of Asset Management maturity and conformance.
Delivery Program
One by 3 day delivery and assessment workshop, followed by the CAMA exam on the morning following the 3rd day
